Nate Staudt

Nate was born in Iowa City, Iowa on September 25, 1990. Less than a year later, Nate moved to Des Moines with his parents so his father could begin his first year at Drake Law School. After his father graduated, Nate’s family moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where Nate and his two younger brothers went to high school.

Inspired by his father's example, Nate set his sights on becoming a trial lawyer at an early age. After earning a political science degree from the University of Iowa, he attended Drake University Law School. During law school, Nate worked as a law clerk at Spaulding & Shaull before joining the firm as an attorney upon graduation.

Nate's practice spans all areas of plaintiff trial work, with a primary focus on representing Iowans whose lives have been changed by serious injuries. He approaches every case with the same philosophy: to be the lawyer he would want by his side if he or someone he loved had been hurt and needed help. He takes pride in providing personal attention, honest communication, and steadfast advocacy throughout every stage of the case.

Since graduating from Drake Law School, Nate has honed his skills and expertise while working at Spaulding & Shaull, where he has learned from some of the best lawyers in Iowa. Nate has successfully recovered millions of dollars for injured Iowans in heavily contested, high-stakes litigation and trial proceedings. His dedication to preparation and client advocacy have earned him the trust of injured Iowans across the state.

Nate lives in Urbandale with his wife, Emily, and their three-year-old son, Henry. Outside of the office, Nate enjoys travel, movies, live theatre, reading about politics and history – past presidents especially, watching sports, and spending time with family.
